After several days of celebrating Maripily Rivera’s birthday, the second place winner of La Casa de los Famosos 4, Rodrigo Romeh, confirmed that Puerto Ricans are “overflowing” with “so much affection.”
Since the Mexican landed on Puerto Rican soil, he stated that “it has been a very nice tumult,” but he never thought that the support he would receive would cross borders.
“I never believed that this platform would give this, on the contrary […] and took me to places I never thought I would be. What’s more, being here crossing borders and having people know me here, is something for me, well, if it blows your mind, but very grateful for everything,” he expressed in an interview with Metro Puerto Rico.
Romeh He stated that having participated in the reality It marked a before and after in his life. For now, she’s enjoying the moment.
”I am very adaptable, so right now I am enjoying it, on the contrary, I see it as a philosophy; If this is giving me life, then I have to make the most of it and get the best out of it, right? And if it is at this moment, I want to enjoy it, at all times, I think that is that, that is what has kept me going, because if we have not stopped this, but at all times I try to make the best of the situation,” he expressed. about the adaptation process upon leaving the program.
In the eyes of some fans, the relationship between Maripily Rivera and Romeh could be for the cameras, however the Mexican businessman expressed that it is a sincere and pure bond.
“I have a certain lack of my mother because of her lack and I project it on her (Maripily Rivera). […] And, in the sense of humor, they are very similar. So, it reminds me a lot of my mom, because she was always making a mess. And Maripily is like that, just like that and she always makes people laugh. I see her and say: ‘ah, look, she reminds me a lot of my mother.’ So she’s like maybe filling that,” she revealed.

Although many fans hope that Romeh and the former beauty queen and also a participant of this season, Ariadna Gutierrez, will establish a relationship, he announced that they will meet again in Miami.
However, he asserted that the relationship is good, but the “schedules are very complicated.”
“There are trips, there are commitments, I have stopped at my house for two days, that is, I have seen my family for two days, imagine […] In the end we talk every day, we are in contact, in communication, and I think that is the main thing, and also having an understanding with each other that we have to support each other, and we have to support each other, in the end that is what it is. Well, I support you in yours, I treat you and I understand,” she said.
Throughout the weekend, the networks were flooded with photos and videos of Rivera’s birthday celebration—and of fellow season participant Cristina Porta.
The celebration lasted until “six in the morning,” said Romeh, adding that they had a “very good time” and that their “bags under their eyes” showed it. Regarding his viral moment in which the bodybuilder danced to reggaeton, he revealed that it took him by surprise.
“I was calm, normal […] Then they pass me there, in front of a platform, and Clovis, you know, and they start there: ‘no, have someone dance with Romeh’ and I start and I said, well, what do I do now? And I said, well, you know, there with all the people, I guess this is cultural, so well. […] I didn’t expect it, no, I swear I didn’t expect it, and when Clovis saw that, he left, and he left me there, he messed me up,” he recalled with a laugh.
