What is it about?

The story focuses on Gabriella, an elegant 60 year old woman who owns a luxury hotel on the Amalfi Coast. Her life seems perfect and peaceful until she meets Elia, a much younger and more attractive man who quickly falls in love with her.

However, Gabriella’s family distrusts the intentions of Elia and believes that he is only interested in her fortune. His suspicions unleash a series of family conflicts and tensions, while Gabriella fights to defend her love and her independence.

When is the adaptation of “100 Years of Solitude” released?

According to Netflix platform revealedLaura Mora and Alex García López are in charge of directing the novel written by the Colombian, Gabriel Garcia Marquez. In addition, they detailed that the production was filmed entirely in the author’s homeland with the support of his family.

The first season of the series premieres on December 11, 2024. The trailer, which is now available, takes us to Macondo with the image of Colonel Aureliano Buendía before the firing squad and other iconic moments in history.

The role of protagonist of “One Hundred Years of Solitude” It will be divided between three actors: Claudio Cataño will play Colonel Aureliano Buendía in his adult version, while Jerónimo Barón will be Aureliano as a child and Santiago Vásquez will give skin to the character in his adolescence.
