Names of two more Israeli soldiers killed in combat in Gaza published

The total number of Israel Defense Forces combatants killed since the beginning of ground operations in the coastal enclave rises to 67.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that two more soldiers have fallen in combat against the Palestinian Islamic terrorist group in the Gaza Strip.

The families of the deceased combatants have been notified.

The deceased soldiers were identified as Captain (reserve) Arnon Moshe Avraham Benvenitsti Vaspi, 26, and First Sergeant Ilya Senkin, 20.

Vaspi was a native of the community of Yesud HaMaala, in the north of the country. He served as an officer in the Reconnaissance Battalion of the Givati ​​Infantry Brigade.

Senkin was domiciled in the city of Nof Hagalil in the Galilee. He served as a soldier of the Rotem Battalion of the Givati ​​Brigade.

Five other fighters – an officer, two reservists and two soldiers – suffered serious injuries in the fighting in northern Gaza.

In this way, the total number of soldiers killed since the beginning of ground operations in the Gaza Strip rises to 67, according to the military spokesman.
