How did the question arise?

On January 13, 2021, the Chilean Claudio Hetz, was accused of irregularities in some published studies where he participated as author or co-author.

At the time, The complaint was made by the For Better Science website, a platform created by the former German scientist, Leonid Schneider, who is currently dedicated to report possible fraud and inconsistencies in investigations.
