The family doctor of the former Uruguayan president Jose Mujica, Raquel Pannoneassured that in the coming days his medical team will new studies to “refine” the diagnosis of the esophageal tumor detected and evaluate the best treatment to follow.
“This is going to take a few days of confirmation and establishing what situation we are in and what the best treatment is for him,” he told the Agency. Asked if there is any specific study already planned for a specific day, the doctor responded that no, but that several are expected to be carried out as the days go by.
