Although, in the stalls where we can buy them, they are fried in hot oil, we are going to share with you a recipe so you can make them in an air fryer so they also have their healthy side. Take note of the step by step and encourage yourself to prepare this true delight.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of wheat flour.
  • 1 egg.
  • 1 cup of water.
  • Granulated sugar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons of sugar.
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, cinnamon powder and hot chocolate sauce (optional).

Preparation

  • Place water in a pot, add sugar, oil, salt and mix all the ingredients.
  • Once it comes to a boil, remove from heat and add the wheat flour all at once. Integrate everything until you achieve a dough that separates from the walls of the pot.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes and then it will be time to add the egg to the preparation.
  • Once it is dissolved in the preparation, find a pastry bag and place the dough.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 190 degrees. Place parchment paper in the basket to place the churros (10-12 cm).
  • Leave space between each one so they don’t stick and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, turning them halfway through to make sure they cook evenly.
  • Remove churros and roll in granulated sugar to coat completely.
