Medical sources, cited by the official Wafa news agency, reported that there are dozens of people injured during the incursion, which occurred this morning.

According to the news outlet, fighter jets also launched projectiles at targets in the northern cities of Gaza and Beit Lahia, while artillery shelled the nearby Jabalia refugee camp.

Since the weekend, the Israeli Army has been carrying out three simultaneous land offensives in that coastal enclave, in which as many divisions are participating.

While the 162nd division advances on the city of Rafah, on the southern border, the 98th operates in Jabalia and the 99th in the Zeitoun neighborhood, in Gaza.

Several smaller units are deployed in the so-called Netzarim corridor, built by Israel to cut the Strip in two.

The UN estimates that more than 360,000 Palestinians fled Rafah, a city that hosted more than a million refugees, in the last week.

On Saturday, the Arabic spokesman for the Israeli Armed Forces, Avihai Adrei, ordered the evacuation of several neighborhoods in Rafah, including Al-Adari, Al-Janaina, Khirbat Al-Adas and blocks 6 to 9, 17, 25 to 27 and 31.

He also confirmed the expulsion of Palestinians from large areas of the northern Jabalia refugee camp, where 100,000 to 150,000 citizens were sheltered.
