A 62-year-old man has starred in an incredible survival story in Moldova after being rescued alive after spending four days buried alive.
The events occurred in a small town in the eastern European country.
The man, whose identity has not been revealed, was found by police after hearing his muffled screams while investigating the murder of a 76-year-old woman.
When excavating the place where the screams were coming from, the agents found the man alive, although with a wound to the neck.
It is presumed that the attacker, an 18-year-old young man, had attacked him and buried him alive before murdering the woman.

The young man, who is a relative of the victim, was arrested and is in police custody.
The authorities continue to investigate the facts to determine the motive for the crime and clarify the details of the event.
The surviving victim, who is in stable condition, was taken to a local hospital for medical attention.
