The National Police of Peru arrested the young woman who impersonated a student studying Accounting at the Andean University of Cusco for five years and no one noticed.

The 26-year-old girl earned 3 thousand soles a month (a little over $700,000) for attending classes and posing as the student who hired her.

The detainee, recognized as Fabiola Córdoba Llanos, was in charge of attending classes and taking all the tests and exams, since the real student lived outside the country.

“Student” lived in Türkiye

The real student lived in Türkiye many years ago, according to the Peruvian police, so He was only in charge of paying Fabiola so that she could pass on her bouquets.

“The arrest was made in the classroom, in the middle of class, to the person we will call ‘Faby’. She had been impersonating the young lady known as ‘Katy’ throughout the entire period of academic training, who has lived in Türkiye for years,” said Commander Luis Cordero, according to Publimetro.

“I would be providing him with a sum of money. As it became known, during the first training period, when she was in the country, it was 700 soles per month. Subsequently, he would be paying her amounts that would reach the sum of S/3,000 soles per month,” the police officer explained.
