The Community of Madrid will commemorate the tenth anniversary of the proclamation of King Felipe VI with the organization of several actions related to this anniversary. Thus, on June 18 and 19, the façade of the Royal Post Office, headquarters of the regional Government, will be decorated with a commemorative canvas and will be illuminated with the colors of the national flag. In addition, the institutional headquarters of the Madrid Executive will also display the national flag on their balconies or windows as a tribute. Likewise, as detailed in a statement, the Government Council will approve an institutional declaration for next Wednesday, coinciding with the official date, and all municipalities in the region have been invited by letter to join this initiative by decorating the cover of their town halls. Another of the planned actions is the projection of the commemorative poster on the 358 digital media in lobbies, platforms or stairs of the Madrid Metro network. The regional Executive will also decorate 508 marquees and the screens of the five interchanges in the region located in Moncloa, Avenida de América, Príncipe Pío, Plaza Elíptica and Plaza de Castilla. The Community of Madrid website and the PlayMad app will also display an information banner.
