The students of the Polán painting course exhibit their works

Next June 26 at 8:00 p.m., the drawing and painting exhibition will open in the exhibition hall of the Polán Municipal Library with some of the works carried out during the 2023-24 academic year in the classroom-workshop. from the Polán City Council, taught by Miguel Muro, an artist from this municipality.

In this course, as in the previous ones, you learn various drawing techniques, with graphite pencil and charcoal, with them, in addition to training your hand, it is intended that you know the concept of chiaroscuro, taking advantage of these techniques you delve into the study of the body. Then they move on to color, learning basic notions, starting from the color wheel, which they will have the opportunity to put into practice during the rest of the course working with oil paint. They choose between landscape, marine, still life or nude, taking into account their experience.

The students are made up of a very wide range of ages spanning several generations, sharing the same space and their experiences with art. It is very important to highlight how throughout the course relationships are established that would hardly occur in everyday life, learning from each other both artistically and in other facets of life.
