I wish they had told me this before’ collects the voice of 21 Colombian leaders through art and is launched at the Bogotá International Book Fair.

An exclusive collection volume that brings together the reflections of 21 influential businessmen, journalists, entrepreneurs and athletes in Colombia and which were transformed into artistic pieces by 27 designers, illustrators, sculptors, typographers and painters.

This limited edition of the coffee table book reflects the transformative capacity of art and the struggle to give value from beauty and aesthetics to thoughts about business, leadership and team management. Its purpose is to inspire the reader through thoughts on how to do things, providing guidance, advice and reflections.

This collection of reflections invites the encounter of many points of view, opinions and styles around Colombian culture. Due to its artistic nature, its structure is not linear, it invites the reader to involve an interactive, inspirational and cultural reading within their routine.

“People are afraid to say that they like power. I love power. Power is being able to do things. It is a privilege that must be used” is one of the phrases contained in this issue and is from the business leader, Sylvia Escovar. Her phrase was illustrated by graphic designer Luis Moreno.

This project arises from the need to build a definition of leadership and business management for the large advertisers in this country.

The edition of the 200 available copies of the book was carried out with the leadership of Sancho BBDO, Noticias RCN TV and with the support of the Lisandro Editores LEA Bookstore for dissemination and promotion at the Bogotá Book Fair.

This book becomes a practical toolbox to pave the way to leadership or to exercise it openly, because if you have the talent and the opportunity, why waste it.

It is not pretentious and is perhaps its greatest value, it will surely become a primer for daily use, because when there are few letters the intellectual effort to discover greatness in simplicity is much greater.
