A specialty coffee shop and bookstore of second-hand copies have come together this spring to encourage the purchase of books and the consumption of coffee with an initiative that will surely will delight the public of Barcelona.
From this April 23 to May 31, you can enjoy this promotion of Syra Coffee and Re-Read, that have their establishments spread across Gràcia and Sants and in Sarrià and l’Eixample.
This promotion means that if you buy a coffee at Syra Coffee, you have a coupon to get a second-hand book at Re-Read and Viveversa, which will allow these two businesses to become known to a different audience.
The Syra Coffee stores are located at Carrer Marià Cubí, 28 and Carrer de Sants, 37; and those of Re-Read on Carrer Muntaner, 270 and Carrer Rosselló, 158.
Mobility restrictions
This is one of the dozens of initiatives that have arisen in Barcelona for Sant Jordi’s day, although it must be taken into account that its celebration will involve traffic restrictions in many streets of Barcelona, from next Monday the 22nd at night and until the early hours of Wednesday the 24th.
Although all districts of the city will have spaces reserved for the sale of books and roses, where mobility will be most affected is in the heart of the city, where the pedestrian superblock will be installed one more year to celebrate the festival.
