Hello Mariela, what is Maremágnum about?
-Hello, Maremágnum tells stories related to childhood told from different perspectives. It is a book for adults that remembers the events, people and emotions we experienced during our childhood with nostalgia.
And is it the first book you wrote?
-Yes and it is the first book that I publish on my own. I have previously written stories that have been published in anthologies shared with other authors.
How does it feel to present it at no less than such a great event?
-I am very happy… because the experience of writing was healing for me. The subtitle of my book is “Stories to a(r)marme” because, both by writing them and by rereading them, I have managed to accept some aspects of my personality and several parts of my personal history.
What expectations are you going with?
-With a lot of desire to learn and to share, humbly, what I have to tell.
Are you also going to present it in Cañada?
Yes. There will also be a presentation at the Bicentennial House on June 7 at 7 p.m.
