The Buenos Aires Cultural Institute announced the second edition of the Book and Reading Strengthening Plan, a proposal that promotes seven lines of action aimed at strengthening and supporting the publishing sector, authors and popular libraries. It aims at professional and trade training as well as the creation of fairs and festivals.

Firstly, they propose support for local book fairs, whether self-managed or municipal, through funds allocated to projects that generate this type of fundamental meetings for democratization, the promotion of reading and the stimulation of the cultural economy, where readers participate, as well as editors, booksellers, reading promoters, librarians, illustrators and writers.
