The company Skytrax, dedicated to collecting quality data from the different airlines and airports in the world, shared the list of the winners of the World Airport Awards for the year 2024.
The entity shared the list of the best air terminals, which were voted by clients through which it is considered “the largest annual airport customer satisfaction survey worldwide.”
In accordance with what is stipulated by the company on its website, the questionnaires from the World Airport Survey which were completed by more than 100 nationalities of airport customers during the period from August 2023 to March 2024.
This survey assessed the customer experience across all airport service and product key performance indicators: check-in, arrivals, transfers, shopping, security, immigration, door check-outamong others.

Skytrax also makes lists of the best airports at a regional level and, in the case of Latin America, Colombia took first place with its El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá.
As detailed by the entity, the country’s main air terminal maintained and improved its streak of success in the customer survey, taking home awards such as Best Airport in South America and Best Airport Staff Service in South America.
