Of course, many of the local brands will gain muscle with a great predominance of electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids, being the marked trend among the tastes of the Chinese public, but also Western brands, as well as from other parts of the East, will present new developments thinking about the always particular market of the Asian giant.

BYD intends to grow sales in 2024 to reach 3.6 million electric and plug-in hybrids, showing among other prototypes the electric pick-up that it already announced a few weeks ago and with which it wants to take ground on the Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux. On the other hand, there is the Denza Z9GT sedan, a plug-in hybrid that is part of its premium sub-brand, as well as the compact Qing L (Automotive News Europe).
