Bieckert launched an initiative with leveling blocks to face the challenge of shaking tables in bars in Buenos Aires (Bieckert)

In an innovative effort to improve the experience of sharing a moment outdoors, Bieckert -recognized for being a city beer- presented an original solution to combat one of the most common problems in large cities like Buenos Aires: table shaking.

This phenomenon, which results from uneven sidewalks and loose or broken tiles, represents a constant headache for beer lovers and bar and restaurant owners, especially since pandemic restrictions led to a surge in usage. of outdoor spaces for gastronomy.

With the aim of putting an end to this scourge and significantly improving the experience of sharing a beer in the city, Bieckert presented a simple and, at the same time, innovative measure: the table leveling block .

This device not only proposes a practical solution to the annoying problem of shaking, but also reflects the brand’s commitment to continuous improvement of the urban experience. The initiative foresees the distribution of 20,000 taquitos to the bars of Buenos Aires, selected by the community itself through a website designed for the occasion.

Developed in collaboration with the United Agency and produced by Marote, a triple impact company, the devices are made from recycled plastic. This material is obtained thanks to the collaboration of cooperatives, protected workshops and municipalities.

The measure comes at an opportune time. According to data from the Government Control Agency of the City of Buenos Aires, there are currently approximately 11,000 restaurants and bars, many of which offer spaces on public roads. This detail is not minor, since the preference for enjoying food and drinks outdoors has grown exponentially in the post-pandemic period.

“The urban identity of our brand allows us to focus every day on improving the experience in the city; Thanks to this initiative, we were able to bring solutions to every corner of it and thus ensure that everyone enjoys a delicious beer in their favorite bar more than ever,” highlighted Inés Escarrá, Product Manager at Bieckert about the importance of this initiative for the brand. .
