This morning an important merger was presented between the Municipal Hospital Foundation and an international application (HelpWin), dedicated to fundraising.
Dr. Marta Del Valle, president of said foundation, said that it “was created five years ago, coinciding with the 130th anniversary of the hospital. At the beginning, most of our activities were focused on managing the pandemic, but now, we are focused on the mission of concluding the building master plan.”
“We have priority sectors, such as the entire critical area, the new operating rooms, the pediatric centers and the oncology area, which must be renovated. Then, you have to complete them with technology and the infrastructure part,” considered the professional.
And he added: “The hospital has both building and infrastructure needs. The cooperative is dedicated mostly to equipment and all the money that enters the Foundation is allocated to construction, that is why we have historical partners who accompany us.”
Maximiliano Görg, commercial representative of the app, highlighted: “We are very happy because Helpwin is free and tries to unify the needs of people who want to collaborate. That’s why it seemed important to us to make an official launch, fully supporting a very strong local campaign for our hospital, which is there every time someone needs it.”
“The application can be downloaded from the Play Store and from there you see a lot of campaigns created, people choose which one they want to collaborate on. All those who do it will participate in raffles, computers, money, and things that the app itself provides,” he indicated.
Dr. Graciela González Prieto, at the time, pointed out that “everything that is collected will be allocated to everything that is a priority. Now we are going to continue the work of the central module, on the floors above what was inaugurated on Friday the hematology and oncology services will operate. So, initially they are going to be directed at them.”
