Relatives of Casaida Carina Carrascal Candela have begun the search for the teenager who disappeared since last Friday, June 7, when she left her home in Girón. Vanguardia publishes her identity with the authorization of her family.
Oswaldo Candela, uncle of Casaida Carina Carrascal Candela, 15 years old, told Vanguardia that, since last Friday, June 7, since 8 p.m., there is no information about the teenager.
The last time they saw her were neighbors from the Villa de Los Caballeros de Girón neighborhood when she left the house with a group of young people.
“She was wearing black shorts, with Adidas shoes of the same tone and a rosewood blouse. The neighbors say that some boys were waiting for her to leave the house, we don’t know more,” said her uncle.
Casaida Carina is in ninth grade and studies at the Gabriel García Márquez Educational Institution, in the Mirador de Arenales neighborhood in Girón, Santander. She lives with her mother, stepfather and a younger sister.
“We don’t know why he left home. He worries us that on Facebook she has had the message box active, but she does not answer. I hope if she reads this that she knows that the mother is very worried and that she only hopes that she will return soon,” said the relative.

The relatives have already filed the respective reports of the disappearance with the Prosecutor’s Office and the Police.
Schoolmates have announced that they will hold a march asking the authorities to investigate his disappearance and for the rights of minors in the municipality of Girón.

The authorities have already begun investigations to find the whereabouts of the 15-year-old minor and are awaiting any information through line 123.
