eToro has announced that it is working with BlackRock to offer its users access to core investment solutions through five new portfolios, the Core Portfolios, now available in Spain. eToro now offers its users pre-built portfolios, of different risk preferences, that use the cost efficiency of building blocks of various iShares ETF asset classes, such as stocks and bonds, to provide access to BlackRock’s asset allocation. Investors can choose between more conservative portfolios, with a higher proportion of fixed income assets, or higher risk ones, with more variable income investments.

In order to design each portfolio for a specific type of investor, eToro has assigned assets to each of them, evaluating factors such as predisposition to growth, stability and appetite for risk, also taking into account the changing economic and market conditions worldwide. BlackRock will provide eToro with asset allocation guidance to design the Core Portfolios.

Combining eToro’s innovative trading and investment solutions with BlackRock’s asset allocation expertise, each portfolio includes between 10 and 25 iShares ETFs and will be rebalanced up to six times a year. The five new portfolios are:

The initial investment starts at $500 and investors can access tools and charts to track their performance, while eToro’s social feed will keep them up to date with the latest news. Initially, These wallets will be available to eToro users in select European countries, such as Germany, Austria, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Holland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Sweden and the United Kingdom. These wallets will not be available to users in the United States.
