More changes at Intersport Spain. The Spanish subsidiary of the Swiss sports fashion company has announced that it has hired Rafael Barbé as business director. The executive, who will report directly to the board of directors, has experience in the consulting sector.
The incorporation of Barbé has been announced just two months after the departure of its general director in Spain, Ángel Solores. Company sources have assured, however, that the executive’s functions will be exclusive to the commercial and retail area. Intersport Spain does not plan to incorporate a new general director in the near future.
Since the departure of Solores, the president of the company Intersport SA, Maite García, and the president of Intersport SL, Pedro Ferrer, They assumed responsibilities internally.
