The Real Estate Showcase of the Caribbean, Vimo 2024opened its exhibition this Friday at the Puerta de Oro Event Center with 100 real estate projects, not only housing, but also commercial, industrial and tourist projects based in Barranquilla and the rest of the Coast.
What is considered the largest offer of projects also has 30 exhibitors specializing in real estate, decoration and safe investments organized by Camacol Atlántico and Corferias del Caribe.
Jorge Segebre, president of the national board of directors of the builders’ union, and president of the board in Atlántico, agrees with Lorena Núñez, project manager at Corferias, andIn the sense that Vimo 2024 is the ideal opportunity to acquire your own home and stop paying rent.
One of the objectives is to encourage and promote, during these three days, residential projects for safe investment, commercial, industrial and tourist properties, with designs that are based on quality of life, well-being, principles of sustainability and environmental responsibility.

“Homes are going to have a short-term appreciation, added to an environment where inflation is decreasing and, therefore, also mortgage credit interest rates, so, today, it is much more profitable to buy a home that pay a rent. So, now is the time to make that investment, along with the lower interest rates and the support that the government is giving with subsidies,” explains Segebre.
For Lorena Nuñez, the most important fair in the real estate sector in the Caribbean region has the participation of the most recognized real estate companies in the country, in capital cities such as: Bogotá, Medellín, Cali.
Added to this are those of beach destinations like Cartagena and Santa Marta that are part of the platform that offers the best opportunities to purchase a home or make a safe investment.
