On Monday, May 6, a new edition of the Met Gala, one of the most important events in the world of fashion. Like every year, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York saw the arrival of the personalities of the moment, both from the world of music, acting and the fashion industry itself.
On this occasion, “the dress code” was called Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion. The fans’ expectations of the celebration, which takes place on the first Monday of May each year, were too high, so they expected magical outfits that respected the imposed theme.
Among the personalities who captured everyone’s attention at the evening, Karol G was one of the most relevant. The Colombian artist received a special invitation for the first time from Vogue’s fashion director, Anna Wintour, for which she made her debut at the Met Gala.
The “Mañana Sera Bonito” singer arrived on the red carpet covered in tulle that did not give details of who was below. Leaving the tulle structure, Carolina made an impact by wearing a dress by designer Marc Jacobs, with subtle transparencies and large crystals. Likewise, Carolina wore a headband characteristic of the forest elves and put on prosthetic ears to look like an elf woman.
