Billie Eilish thinks three-hour concerts are ‘psychotic’

Not all artists like the idea of doing three-hour concerts. Although it is normal among the heavyweights of the industry, many have been forced to extend the shows to compete with their colleagues, even if it is not a dish of good taste. Judging by their recent comments, Paul McCartney and Billie Eilish are among those who would prefer to do an hour and a half concert.

The author of ‘HIT ME HARD AND SOFT’ is clear about what she doesn’t want: “I’m not going to do a three-hour concert, because it’s literally psychotic,” she commented during a conversation with her fans. “Nobody wants that. You don’t want that, I don’t want that, not even as a fan », she concluded.

Although these comments have occurred in the middle of a commercial war between Eilish and Swift, Billie has clarified in the past that both Beyoncé and Taylor are “untouchable superstars” and that the fact of being able to “put on such a long concert” is “amazing.” .

On the other hand, Paul McCartney has also expressed rejection of long-running shows during the Ivor Novello Awards, while laughing at his friend Bruce Springsteen. McCartney was in charge of presenting the award to ‘Born To Run’ and began his speech in the best way: “Unlike Bruce’s concerts, I’m going to keep it short.”

The former Beatle said that he blamed Springsteen for the change in the length of the shows: “We used to play an hour, or an hour and a half. The Beatles played for half an hour. “He does it once and now we all play for three hours,” the British composer joked. Of course, the roasting of Springsteen did not stop: “I can’t think of anyone more appropriate to be the first international composer to accept the award, except perhaps Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, Beyoncé or Taylor Swift.”
