MEXICO CITY.- After the resounding success of his song “Flowers” ​​and his victory at the most recent Grammy Awards, Miley Cyrus surprised everyone when she was announced as one of the collaborators of Beyonce on his new album, ‘Cowboy Carter’.

However, it was not until now that the American singer revealed the true origin of “II Most Wanted”one of the greatest musical duets of this year.

In an interview with W Magazine, the “Party in the USA” singer revealed that her duet with Beyoncé was really a song she wrote on her own a long time ago.

I wrote that song 2 and a half years ago. […] I told him, “We don’t have to try to sound Country; We are Country. “We’ve been country.” […] Getting to write a song, not just sing, for Beyoncé was a dream come true,” Miley said.

Likewise, he revealed that beyond being a collaborator, Beyoncé has become a person he can contact day by day to talk about personal issues.

Sometimes I forget to talk about things that are a normal part of my daily life, like texting Beyoncé. “I think she’s a really nice part of our relationship, because over the last few years I’ve really restricted my privacy and what I share with the public,” she added.
