Ariel Rodríguez Palacios and his wife, Valeria Palazzo, have created a united and diverse family, made up of four children: Gaspar, Felipe, Máximo and Lourdes. Each of them has taken a different path, always with the unconditional support of his parents. This week, Gaspar, the oldest, made headlines for an extraordinary achievement: he graduated from Harvard University.

Ariel, renowned chef and host of “Ariel en su salsa” on Telefe, could not contain his pride and shared this important family moment on his social networks. “We are proud of your achievements @gasparrp Congratulations!! We love you!” wrote Ariel Rodríguez Palacios along with a series of photographs from the event in Massachusetts.

Gaspar, who did not follow in his father’s gastronomic footsteps, opted for a career in finance. “Gaspar did not study as a chef, Felipe is a Chef, Gaspar is not,” Ariel clarified in response to the curiosities and comments of his followers. Gaspar’s decision to study at the prestigious Harvard Business School demonstrates his dedication and effort, something that his father highlighted with pride.

The Rodríguez Palacios family traveled to the United States to accompany Gaspar at his graduation ceremony. At the event, the young man received his diploma wearing an Argentine flag over his toga, showing his attachment to his roots. Images of the event, including the moment Gaspar goes on stage to receive his title, were shared in an emotional video by his father.

Ariel also took the opportunity to clarify the confusion generated among her followers about her children’s careers. Felipe, the second son, did follow in his father’s footsteps in gastronomy. He studied at one of the most prestigious schools in the country, advanced abroad and today works with his father on several projects, including the Telefe program. “Felipe puts a modern stamp on it and teaches me a lot of things. He had a much better career than mine. He lived seven years in France, he was in Japan, he worked in one of those super demanding three-star Michelin restaurants. He surpassed me. In training he gives me eight laps, it’s very good,” Ariel expressed in an interview with La Nación.

Máximo, the third son, maintains a low profile but has also dedicated himself to cooking. At 25 years old, Máximo studied at the Argentine Business University (UADE) and completed a postgraduate degree in business management. Although he is shy and rarely appears in public, last year he made a shy appearance on his father’s show.

Lourdes, the youngest of the four, is also notable for keeping a low profile. At 23 years old, she recently graduated as a designer from the Torcuato Di Tella University and is looking for work. Ariel has occasionally shared photos of herself in family moments, showing the affection and pride she feels for her “princess of hers.”
