The years go by and the boys grow up and Benjamín Vicuña began to get the idea that his 16-year-old son Bautista already has his personal tastes and that these interests often do not coincide with his own. As is the case of the controversial sport that the actor’s and Pampita’s eldest son began to practice.
A little while ago, Bautista Vicuña found a taste for the MMA discipline and his father made it clear in front of the cameras that he does not agree with this somewhat dangerous hobby. This was said by the Chilean in the middle of a broadcast on the You Tube channel Criemos libre, a special broadcast for Father’s Day that he shared with the teenager.
“I do MMA and boxing, mixed martial arts, I see it as a very nice sport. You learn a lot”said Bautista, and added what he likes most about this type of fight: “It’s great, it’s a fight but anything goes, from an elbow in the face to a kick, until they want to break your arm. Anything goes.”
But his dad had another idea about it and didn’t keep anything quiet. Very seriously, Benjamín Vicuña gave his opinion on Bauti’s new interest: “It is a sport that he likes, he is preparing first with boxing and martial arts, to do that sport. Do you understand that it is complicated?”
“I haven’t seen you fight in the street or with your teammates because it’s something that worries me and I don’t like it. I’m never going to prohibit anything, in this case, it’s a controversial sport that I don’t understand. Boxing is an art, karate “That I liked has a philosophy, but this is a complete mess.”he advanced.
And although Pampita’s ex for now reluctantly accepts that his son practices this sport as a current hobby, he does not want to know anything about the issue escalating to adults.
“I don’t want him to do it, but he is in a process where he is assimilating things. I hope that one day the chip falls on you and you don’t do it.”Benja pointed out, and raised the bar, appealing to family values: “It would be something very painful for your family, I don’t want to talk about this sport because everyone has a degree of danger….”
And Vicuña closed with a reflection addressed to his teenage son who is discovering his own personality: “Tomorrow we are going to see what comes your way or what you are going to have to weigh, today you think about it irresponsibly.”
