In a new episode of The Kardashians, Kylie Jenner She breaks down in tears because of the criticism she constantly receives about her appearance. The makeup mogul assures that although she is self-confident, no human being can withstand so many aggressive messages.
What happened to Kylie Jenner?
In the season 5 episode of the reality series, titled “Baby Rocky”Kylie speaks with her sister Kendall Jenner, and they delve into the feeling that her media family is “dehumanized” by the media and the harsh view of public opinion.
“If you talked the same way you talk about us about any other woman, people would come to your defense all day. But for some reason, with us, people don’t believe we have feelings.”says Kendall. In that context, Kylie responded: “It’s, like, a miracle that I can still have confidence“After more than 10 years of hearing about (my appearance), it is exhausting,” she said.
Kylie revealed that she spent the last year dissolving half of her lip filler. And when she relates that she reads unpleasant comments online about her appearance, she can’t contain her tears and breaks down: “I’ve never cried about this, but I guess it does affect me. It’s like, Why do people think it’s okay to talk about me?“she cries, while her older sister hugs her.
Kylie says that although she reads positive comments from her fans, she always manages to sneak in some extremely harsh messages that end up being difficult to process. Citing some of those comments, she says: “Because she did it to herself.” She repeats what critics tell her about her. “She shit her face, she had a lot of surgery.” “People have been talking about my looks since I was 12 or 13. Even before I got fillers in my lips, people were talking about my looks”, says Kylie. “I look old, I see it under every post.”
Kendall tries to restrain her sister, admitting that her family is so famous that it is almost impossible to change the strong opinions of others. “Sadly, it’s something we have to be very tough on,” she says. “I think I’m very strong and I was put in this position for a reason. I consider myself a confident person. I’m also human and a person can only endure so much.“says Kylie.
When Keeping Up With the Kardashians aired, Kylie was 10 years old. Since then, the current socialite and makeup mogul, 26, has spent years worrying about how she looks.
In 2018, she revealed that she stopped filling her lips because she was becoming a mother to her daughter Stormi. Now that she is a mother of two children she has become “more self-aware.” “During pregnancy, Kylie didn’t get her usual fillers or wear much makeup,” they told ET. “Kylie really fell in love with the natural look of hers and she wanted more of that, so she decided to stop putting filler in her lips.”
