A few days ago, rumors arose that Imelda, widow of the Mexican singer and composer Julián Figueroa, would be starting a new love relationship, just over a year after the death of her husband and father of her son. Jose Julian7 years old.
It was all because she attended the premiere of the play ‘Aventurera’ at the Los Ángeles Hall, in Mexico City, accompanied by a young man named Francisco Fernandez Tovar and on several occasions they were seen holding hands. Later, in an interview for the Mexican television program ‘Ventaneando’, Julián Figueroa’s widow assured that they were just friends.
“Right now I am very focused on my career, in fact, very important things are coming, I am about to finish mixing a song, recording a new one, I am going to premiere a play in two weeks, I am busy in rehearsals.” However, Maribel Guardia’s daughter-in-law mentioned that she is not denied love: “But not right now, right now, the truth is I feel very good, I am calm.”
Now, the 65-year-old Costa Rican reacted to Imelda Garza Tuñón’s supposed new romance. The actress said that her daughter-in-law is a free and beautiful woman so she would eventually look for a new opportunity in love.
“Surely they will see her with several because she is a single woman, I mean, it’s not that I love her, but I understand that she is a free woman, a very beautiful, young woman and well she has to make her life and continue, one day she will appear one that is real and there’s no way, life goes on,” said the singer in an interview with ‘Ventaneando’.
Also, Guardia highlighted that she wants a good man to come into the life of the mother of her grandson José Julián, “It is difficult for me, but I completely understand that she has to rebuild her life, she is young, she is beautiful and well, life goes on. “May God be with her, what I ask God is that a good man be given to her because whatever happens to her, will happen to my grandson.”
“When I am praying to the Virgin, every time I kneel and, believe me, the first person I pray for is Imelda, asking God to take care of her, to protect her, that, if one day she gets a man, be a good man,” Maribel added.
Let us remember that Julián Figueroa, the only child that Maribel Guardia had with Joan Sebastian, died at the age of 27, on April 9, 2023, due to an acute myocardial infarction and ventricular fibrillation. Imelda Tuñón was widowed at the age of 26, after having been married to Juliá Figueroa, with whom she had a relationship for more than 10 years.
Currently, Imelda, 27 years old, and her son José Julián live at Maribel Guardia’s house.
