If we talk about the iconic hosts of the morning show “Mucho Gusto”, it is impossible to leave out Magdalena Montes, journalist who was the first woman to command the morning news Mega. She arrived at Mega in 2001, after a brief stint as a presenter on a TVN program, and she took charge of the morning program which, at that time, lasted 45 minutes and was broadcast only on weekends.
Montes experienced the transition of “Mucho Gusto”, which went from being a short-lived program that was broadcast only on Saturdays and Sundays, to a 4-hour morning program broadcast from Monday to Friday. The journalist had as colleagues Chris Carpentier, Carlo Von Mühlenbrock and finally, to José Miguel Viñuela, who accompanied her until 2008.
