The Legal Medical Service (SML) delivered, after 3:00 p.m., the bodies of the three police officers murdered yesterday Saturday in an ambush that occurred in the town of Antiquina, in the commune of Cañete.
The hearses left the premises amid applause and the singing of the Carabineros anthem by people who came out to accompany the families.
The SML previously reported that all the analyzes requested by the Public Ministry were concluded successfully.
“I want to repeat my condolences and I would like to say that as a Legal Medical Service, in the morning hours, lWe are going to finish with the identification and make the identification of the three carabineros“, he pointed Marisol Pradonational director of the SML.
Likewise, he noted that “we notified the Prosecutor’s Office of this in a coordinated manner so that we can proceed to hand over the police officers to their families.”
However, and within the framework of the reserved investigation, Prado did not provide details about the cause of death or the context of the injuries found on the bodies..
