The presidential spokesperson, Manuel Adorni, announced that “the political staff was reduced by 60%” in the Ministry of Health and denounced irregularities in the delivery of permits for the Cannabis Program Registry (Reprocann). He also announced that so far in Javier Milei’s government, the portfolio has suffered a budget adjustment of 140,000 million pesos.
The information arose from the audits that the Government is carrying out in all State agencies, such as Pami, Ansés, Inadi, the National Disability Agency (Audis)among other.

At the conference this Monday, Adorni explained that, as a result of the audits, in the Ministry of Health “the political staff was reduced by 60%where there were roles that overlapped.” And he expanded: “This implied a saving of 13,464 million pesos.”
On the other hand, the presidential spokesperson also announced that there were controls in the distribution of subsidies to prepaid companies. “Subsidies to private health companies ended and 48 vehicles were deregistered,” he said. Along these lines, he commented that there was cuts in programs and service contracts maintained by the Ministry of Health. “The contract of 619 consultants for 1,150 million pesoswithin the framework of the redesign of the ENIA Plan”.

“The registration requirements for the Registry of Cannabis Producers, popularly known as Reprocann, began to be reviewed, in which it was detected that in the previous management more than 90,000 requests without diagnoses based on scientific evidence”Adorni specified.
