The Confederation of Business Associations of the Balearic Islands (CAEB) and the psychologists of the Official College of Psychology of the Balearic Islands (COPIB) have reached a collaboration agreement to promote the psychological well-being in the work environment. Thus, the IBCC will provide advisory services in areas linked to psychological well-being in the work environment and human resources management.

At the signing of the agreement, which is valid annually, was the president of CAEB, Carmen Planasthe dean of the Official College of Psychology of the Balearic Islands (COPIB), Javier Torresthe member of Work Psychology, Lourdes Barrosand the IBCC organizations.

Furthermore, the agreement establishes that both entities will carry out dissemination actions with the aim of raising awareness and promoting the importance of emotional well-being in the workplace. As if that were not enough, they have also committed to developing activities and actions that contribute to improving the quality of work life and to prevent possible situations of stress or psychological discomfort.

After this agreement, both Carmen Planas and Javier Torres have agreed on the importance of promoting and achieving healthy work environments for workers in companies and organizations in the Balearic Islands and have pointed out that promoting emotional well-being is a priority.

To achieve this objective, CAEB and the psychologists of the Balearic Islands have assured that “it is necessary to create the ideal conditions that promote the comprehensive well-being of workers, both physical and mental, and that also allow them to fully develop in the work and personal spheres.”
