He was brought to trial Christopher Gregor, 31, who must respond before a United States court for the death, in 2021, of his 6-year-old son, Corey Micciolo, in New Jersey. Gregor would be facing life imprisonment for the facts.
And in a video that went viral on social networks, it showed the moment when Gregor forced his son to run tirelessly on an electric treadmill, demanding routines that were not for his age, according to him, because the child “I was fat.”
The images also showed when the father bit the boy’s head while he tried to stay on the treadmill. It was the mother who published the video as evidence and filed a complaint.
The child died on April 2, 2021 after the father took him to the hospital, because he had woken up from a nap feeling nauseous and unable to speak. Already at the medical center, the doctors did everything possible to save the minor’s life, but inevitably he died.
Corey’s mother would have found the night before his death some bruises on the child’s body, injuries that his father would have caused.
