The Prosecutor’s Office attributed acts prior to March 30, 2023, for “having endangered the life” of a minor when they had him under their care, “supplying him with medication that was not indicated by a medical professional, in order to achieve sedation and thus preventing him from demanding attention, which could have caused various adverse effects, including death, this being proven after the analysis of urine samples obtained in the raids carried out on March 30 of last year in the neonatology area of ​​the Children’s Sanatorium. , thus placing the minor in a situation of helplessness since both had him in their care during the “time range” of 6 hours each, between 0 and 12, three days before the raid.

In addition, the accused Yanina B. was charged with “having endangered the life” of another child by giving him a dose greater than that indicated by a medical professional, “in order to achieve sedation and thus prevent him from demanding attention, which “which could have caused various effects, including death (…) placing the minor in a situation of helplessness since he was the one in charge of his care on that shift.”

Finally, Analía B. is charged with an act of April 29, 2022, for “having endangered the health and life of a minor who was in the 5th sector of the neonatology area of ​​the Children’s Sanatorium, by shaking her “.

After the hearing, the prosecutor indicated on Channel 3 that “it was a very difficult case. We tried to corroborate these complaints through testimonies as soon as possible to raid quickly and for the institution to become aware, since according to the complainants they were not aware that this It was happening”. In that sense, she gave some details. “According to testimonies, it was indicated that they were given this medication so that they would not disturb them. They mention that one of them used to watch Netflix; and the other used to sleep because she then had a shift at another institution.”
