Cuba. The National Institute of Oncology and Radiobiology of Cuba (INOR) is preparing to develop its first Convention, focused on the latest trends and developments in cancer treatments at an international level.

According to what Dr. Carlos Días Mayo, general coordinator of the Convention, told this press outlet, from November 25 to 29 of this year, an important group of specialists will meet in the Cuban capital to analyze and discuss new trends, diagnoses and oncology treatments internationally. A meeting will also be held with the graduates of the institution’s different training programs, with a view to learning about and exchanging experiences of the development of the specialty in their respective countries.

The event includes panels and exhibitions that will undoubtedly enrich knowledge about this topic, which brings new knowledge and treatments every day.

The National Institute of Oncology and Radiobiology (INOR) also acts as a methodological governing center in research, medical care and teaching of oncology and the fight against cancer, representing Cuba before international institutions in everything related to specialty.
