The Faculty of Medicine of the National University of the Northeast and the ARTRO NEA Traumatology and Sports Center of Corrientes are committed to working together, for the benefit of the students.
The signing was carried out by the dean Professor Mario Germán Pagno and the director of ARTRO NEA Lic. Mgter. Nancy Sofía Fernández, accompanied by the director of the Kinesiology and Physiatry degree program Lic. Mgter. Laura Leyes and the academic secretary Lic. Mgter. Marcela Barrios.
This strategic alliance will allow students of the Kinesiology and Physical Therapy program to carry out professional internships at ARTRO NEA, an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences.
The director of the Center Nancy Fernández, who is also a former student and teacher of the Faculty, expressed her joy at the opportunity to establish this important link for the students of the PPI Intensive Professional Practices to develop their learning activities in this place.
In this regard, he added: “We are going to develop practices in dermatofunctional kinesiology, they are going to learn to evaluate what skin is in order to learn how to apply the physical agents that we use in dermatofunctional kinesiology and also in the area of traumatology and sports rehabilitation, they are going to learn how to apply the treatments that are done in the office.”
