The renowned actor Edgar Vivar, famous for his roles as Mr. Belly and Ñoño in the iconic series “El Chavo del 8”, suffered an accident during the filming of an episode of the series “Vecinos”, according to his colleague César Bono.

During a conversation with reporters last Friday, Bono shared that Vivar “he fell and collapsed” while they were filming, tragically evoking the death of Benito Castro.

It was confirmed that the accident occurred during the recording and mentioned that there is a video recording of the fall. He also detailed that Vivar was standing and stepped back before falling to the ground.

Regarding the actor’s health, Bono reported that he had to have seven stitches, but that he has already spoken with him and he is fine. He expressed his concern by saying that “Seven stitches are many stitches.”

Elías Solorio, producer of “Vecinos,” provided more details about the accident in an interview for the “Hoy” program.

In addition, the professional explained that Vivar lost his balance during a scene and was taken to the hospital for a general checkup after receiving medical attention on set.

Solorio also mentioned that the scene in which the incident occurred was the last of the season with the actor, but assured that there would be an end-of-season gathering where they could see him.

On the other hand, Édgar Vivar confirmed his participation in the long-awaited bioseries “Wanting without wanting”, which will soon reach Max. During a press conference in Mexico, the actor shared details about his inclusion in the project.

In addition to providing his testimony and enriching the story’s script, Vivar, 75, will also play Agustín P. Delgado, a renowned Mexican director and producer. “I am going to make a cameo, I am going to play Agustín Delgado, a film director, who baptized Roberto Gómez Bolaños as ‘Chespirito’,” he explained.

Vivar stressed that his participation in the bioseries is mainly informative and he hopes that his memories and experiences with the creator of “El Chavo del 8” and “El Chapulín Colorado” will add depth to the plot.
