After several weeks, Cristián Campos raised his voice after receiving a complaint against him from Raffaela di Girolamo, who accuses him of child sexual abuse.

The statement details the atrocious events that Raffaella would have faced during her adolescence, when she was a minor, alleging that sexual abuse by her former stepfather began at the age of 13 and continued until she was 16 or 17 years old, while he was part of the family and was the father of his brothers after having a relationship with Claudia di Girolamo.
Now, the interpreter revealed his version in an interview with La Tercera, where he assured that he has received threats from the alleged victim.
In the first instance, Campos revealed that at no time was he notified of the complaint: “Lawyer Hermosilla said in a statement that the Trust Foundation had officially notified me a month ago of this lawsuit and that was not the case. “I did not have any official or unofficial information, but my wife (actress María José Prieto) and I knew about this situation a long time ago, since we got married.”
Likewise, he revealed that the situation began more than a decade ago: “14 years ago Raffaella informed us that I had abused her and that she was going to ruin my life. And from then on it has been a 14-year chain of threats through different means, by WhatsApp, by email, by telephone calls, all very aggressive, all very violent, announcing to me that he was going to file a complaint for this alleged sexual abuse that there would have been. happened 20 years ago. So yes, it is like the chronicle of an announced lawsuit. This (the threat of a complaint for alleged sexual abuse) not only did we know about it a month ago, but we have suffered it for 14 years.”
How did it all start?
When Cristián had already set up his family with María José Prieto, the intimidation from Claudia di Girolamo’s daughter began.
“I was shooting a movie in the north, a movie about the miners, The 33, but a Spanish version that no one saw. I was there at night recording and Raffaella called me. And I say to him “Raffa?”, and he tells me: “I’m calling you because I had a flashback and I discovered that I was also abused by my stepfather.” The stepfather was me. Me recording in the north, freezing to death, in the desert, at night, her telling me this, the truth is that I didn’t understand, I didn’t take care of the matter. I asked her what she meant, if she was serious, how, when, what she was talking about, what she was a flashback”.
“She is very upset and tells me that… she doesn’t give me any explanation and instead He tells me that he is going to screw up my life, with those words, and he cuts it off. And there begins a chain of messages from her to me threatening me on WhatsApp, that she is going to report me, she writes me some tremendous emailsshe calls me on the phone when I am shopping with my daughter at the mall to forbid me from going to the beach, to forbid me from going to the theater when she goes to the theater. A series of attacks that I don’t really know how to handle, because from the moment she discovers with her flashback that she was abused, she does not report me or warn anyone, not her mother, not her brother, not anyone, but rather she dedicates herself to threatening me with these messages, which make me extremely worried, because I am absolutely sure that I did not participate in those flashbacks or whatever they are called“, explained the actor in the dialogue with the media.
The defense of Campos
Immediately afterwards, the interpreter defended himself and assured that at no time did he do anything improper against his ex-partner’s daughter, Claudia di Girolamo.
“I am sure that I have never done anything, not even close, that could be interpreted as that. But I am married, in a situation with a young daughter who is entering school, and I say ‘if this young lady suddenly raises her hand and reports, the social tendency was to believe the supposed victim.’ So… and I don’t react either, and I tell my wife ‘let’s buy some time, let’s wait for our daughter to grow up, when she is in a position to explain to her what this is about, we talk about it and we open it, and eventually we do a countersuit, because this was already extortion.’
In Campos’ words, the intimidation reached another level: “From private threats we move on to another modality that I suddenly discover. “I am recording a television series and I discover from comments from the cast that Raffaella is spreading public rumors in my workplace that she is going to sue me for abuse.”
This event would have occurred while he was working on “Hidden Truths,” a Mega television series, where All his colleagues knew about the psychologist’s situation and that it led him to lose job opportunities.
“The producers, the makeup artists, knew this matter. You know that after the pandemic it was very difficult to find work, this television series had already saved us a couple of years and they promise to continue hiring me in the next projects. But suddenly I realize that there are no more projects for me. lThe brands that I represented remove their representation from me without any explanation. “Audiovisual production companies with whom I had worked very well, and who had also agreed to include me in upcoming casts, stopped answering my calls.”Cristián Campos recalled.
