Regarding her commitment to Miss Universe, she says that it is working for mental health with the Mentalízate project, and that a platform like this allows her to be more visible and reach more audiences with such a specific topic, “Being queen opens doors for me to reach foundations, obtain official and private support.”

I am a very authentic person, I am very close to people, I connect very easily because I am very me and I don’t try to fit into the typical role of a queen. I come from a humble, happy, spontaneous family, and I am not going to change that to be a queen,” says Valentina when talking about her strengths as a Miss Universe Medellín.

Regarding her future, she expresses that in two years she sees herself leading her own swimwear company.

In addition to Valentina, 24 years old, as Miss Universe Medellín, Mariana Zuleta, 24 years old, who was chosen as Miss Universe Antioquia 2024, will also compete in Barranquilla. The young woman is an international negotiator and has a double degree in European Administration obtained in Strasbourg, France.
