Fiona Harveywho accused being the real “Marta” which inspired the creation of the acclaimed original series “Baby Reindeer“, he demanded Netflix demanding an amount of $170 million dollars.

Together with her lawyer, the woman filed the legal action because she believes that the streaming platform did not take the necessary precautions to protect his identity.

The series was created by Richard Gadd, who also stars in the production playing a fictional version of himself called Donny. It all arises from a theatrical show of the same name that he previously starred in.

In the lawsuit, in fact, it states that Harvey has no criminal record and has never been to prison.. He also claims that he never attacked Gadd, whom he calls a “a failed comedian” and “a self-admitted crack, meth and heroin user.”

Previously, a British lawmaker requested that Netflix provide evidence that the person who inspired the character has a conviction for harassment, as a Netflix executive claimed this was the case in a presentation before a UK committee.
