In fact, his name has been circulating on social networks for something beyond his work as a presenter, since he decided to make a radical decision with the appearance of her children, sparking a controversy to which she responded forcefully.

Through his Instagram account, where he has 19,000 followers, Patiño not only shares his work, which has led him to be part of the news programs of RCN, RTVC, and Canal Capital; He also reveals aspects of his daily life in which his two twins stand out, Emilio and Tomás, children who were born from his relationship with the communications strategist Marcela Guataquira.

In one of his most recent reels, José Fernando decided to share a story related to the appearance of his children, whose hair was shaved, like he did when he was little. An act that not only sparked conversation with those close to him, it also served as a family event that gave rise to an emotional conversation about self-esteem and confidence.

“We thought it was cool to shave them and them too. (…) They came out with tremendous attitude. Happy because they had cut their hair and looked different. (…) They began to interact with people and they began to think that something bad had happened. (…) People began to create a number of theories that had nothing to do with the decision we made. (…) They began to wonder and say that it made them sad to go to school like that. (…) We have taught them not to give opinions about people.
