“Amnesty International recognizes that this decision is a firm step in the construction of a justice that condemns sexual violence against children and gender violence, and, with this, sends a message to the girls and women of Argentina and Latin America, that they can trust the system of administration of justice and be encouraged to report,” the organization stated.

Trial chronology

TO mid 2019, Nicaragua required the opening of a criminal process against the actor for considering him the direct perpetrator of the crime of aggravated rape.
