The 90s are back: the new collection of clothing and footwear that brings the best of an unforgettable decade

topper -the sports footwear and clothing brand- and Stirrecognized for its authentic and creative style, presented their new collection inspired by the 90s. This collaboration, under the name of TopperxRevolverclaims not only retro fashion, but also unique moments of Argentine culture and sport.

After the success of whatever the first collab between both brands – where tennis was the leiv motive-, the inspiration this time is based on another of the sports that had its golden age in the 90s: basketball.

The capsule includes t-shirts, socks, sneakers, shorts, bags and wristbands. Each piece, with visual elements and color palettes that evoke the nostalgia of those years. Vintage sneakers, for example, not only feature design details inspired by orange balls, but also incorporate modern technologies that ensure comfort and durability.

“This collection, compared to the last capsule, has many more details. We made a shoe almost developed from scratch, we put details in the shoe, we presented a whole line of clothing with many accessories and we even made vintage Topper balls,” explained Ignacio Cattaneo, co-founder of Revolver.

In that sense, the proposal perfectly captures the aesthetics of the 90s with a modern look. Vibrant colors such as orange, blue, petrol, ecru and burgundy dominate the palette; while piqué, a fabric representative of the era and sport, adds an authentic touch.

In this way, the tribute to a decade reinforces the relevance, impact and popularity of these trends today. Notably topper, always linked to sports, has been able to capture this essence and, together with Revolver, has managed to create pieces that pay tribute to this legacy. The collaboration demonstrates how two distinct approaches can come together to form something unique and meaningful.

Stir, for its part, is known for its focus on fashion inspired by music and art. In fact, its name comes from the Beatles’ 1966 album. “Make clothes that we like,” says Cattaneo, when describing them. This philosophy allowed her to be recognized for his connection with artists, photographers and musicians, and for his creativity in designing unique garments. “For me, music is essential and is reflected in our designs,” he added.

“I really like what the brand does, so every time there is something new, I have my eyes open to see what I can take away. The truth is that everything is incredible: his rock, sports and musical style. I was born in the 90s, so this is my chance: I love dressing in oversize”said Goyo Degano, Bandalos Chinos singer and brand ambassador upon encountering the collection.

Likewise, the focus of this collaboration is on the Argentine DNA that always seeks an opportunity to add. This collection is a reflection of that sentiment, combining the rich heritage of topper with the bold and contemporary creativity of Stir.

“It is positive nostalgia that translates into emotion. I believe that all of us who were born here had a topperSo always the way Stir It was to build from the national perspective. It seems to us that the union of the two brands empowers us all. For this reason, we are very happy to present this collection,” Cattaneo explained in conclusion.

Furthermore, he added that the brand’s mission is to create products that are not only functional, but also awaken a sense of nostalgia and belonging. With this new capsule, the essence of the 90s was perfectly captured: a decade that left an indelible mark on sports and fashion in Argentina.
