Seth Binzer, better known by his stage name Shifty Shellshockvocalist of the band Crazy Town, was found dead.

According to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Department website, Shellshock died at his residence last Monday. The cause has not yet been revealed.

Shellshock gained notoriety with his band, Crazy Town, first with their debut album The Gift Of Game (1999), sold more than a million and a half copies, and then with his single Butterflyreleased in October 2000, reached first place on the Billboard Hot 100 for two consecutive weeks, being the band’s biggest hit.

After the second album, darkhorse (2002), which did not have the same impact as the first, the band split and Shellshock broke through as a solo artist. In 2004, he released his album Happy Love Sick, which performed well in Europe. Crazy Town reunited years later for the release of their third album The Brimstone Sluggers (2015).

Throughout its life, Shellshock had been open about his fight against addiction. She even appeared on several reality shows that talked about the topic. She was in two seasons of Celebrity Rehab from the VH1 channel and two other seasons of the program Sober Housefrom the same channel.

Shellshock leaves behind three children, Halo, Gage and Phoenix.
