After battling a painful and long illness, Colombian actor Sigifredo Vega passed awayremembered for his interpretation of Don Filemón, in the soap opera ‘Pasión de gavilanes’, among many of those he did in his 45-year career.
The news of his death was confirmed on the Instagram account of SCG Colombia, which looks after the rights of actors in the country. “Today, with deep regret, we say goodbye to our dear partner Sigifredo Vega. Known for his unforgettable role as “Don Filemón” in “Pasión de Gavilanes”, Sigifredo dedicated more than 30 years of his life to acting, leaving an indelible mark on each character he played. His passion and dedication in each performance taught us the true essence of dramatic art,” the publication says.
