The director of the Valparaíso-San Antonio Health Service Cristián Gálvez mentioned that the SSVSA is prepared to ensure a coordinated, effective and networked response to any emergency situation that may arise during the Easter celebrations: “Together with the Subdepartment of Risk, Emergency and Disaster Management (DEGREYD) and the management teams of the establishments, we have delivered the guidelines and orientations that come from the undersecretary of care networks in order to keep us prepared for possible emergencies that may arise and that generate an overload in the usual care for which our care network is responsible. At the same time, contact has been made with all the teams in the network so that during this period we remain on alert and in constant communication to guarantee the best conditions of care. health for people

Gricel Zamorano, in charge of emergency and disaster coordination of the Risk and Disaster Management Department of the Valparaíso-San Antonio Health Service, pointed out that: “The objective of the contingency plan is to be active in case any adverse event occurs this long weekend. There is an increase in people who come to spend the weekend in the Valparaíso region and attend sports activities, therefore, we are attentive if the need to increase network work is activated.” Zamorano indicated: “The preparation of the network is based on all establishments having a contingency plan that is reported to the Health Service, which at this time maintains its operational capacity.
