Gutiérrez had even argued that his movement had the right to become a party due to the five million votes it reached in the 2022 presidential elections.

In any case, the decision of the Council of State does not put at risk the election of Federico Gutiérrez as mayor of Medellín nor that of the officials who were elected by Creo. The ruling only applies to future electoral aspirations.
This Thursday it was also known that the administrative litigation court declared void the resolution that recognized Todos Somos Colombia, a group of Senator Clara López, as a political party.
