The Laboratory of Antibodies and Experimental Biomodels (Labex) is getting ready to participate in the Tivolí Fair, as part of the celebration day for May Day in Santiago de Cuba.
In this regard, Darlene Villalón Labrada, secretary of the union section, highlighted that, like every year, this direction of the Center for Molecular Immunology will represent the Provincial Union of Health Workers and the OSDE BioCubaFarma in the event that exhibits achievements of the labor movement in the province.
“The population will find in our tent some of the biomodels that we use in the Laboratory, which are very attractive to children; We are also going to perform blood tests with the reagents we produce for those who wish to know their blood group.
“We will have many initiatives, all areas of Labex will be represented, we will deliver folding products and we will show the products that we develop for our main client in the country, which is the National Health System,” explained the also communicator of the scientific institution.
In the wide variety of proposals, Labex will bet on disseminating results of Cuban science as part of local heritage.
Characterized by joy, color and broad popular participation, the Tivolí Fair is one of the most anticipated activities in the commemorative context of International Workers’ Day.
It is a great exhibition where the work of the unions is combined with artistic presentations and commercial offers that highlight tradition and invite the enjoyment of the most indigenous values of the Santiago culture.
